BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Service International) is the ITS industry leader in design, management, installation and maintenance of Information Technology Systems. BICSI provides the most prestigious certifying credentials available in the industry.

This program provides an overview of the transmission principles of copper cable, professionalism, safety and general industry best practices. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to: accurately interpret drawings, plans and specifications; discuss cable selection and implications for application on the network; make recommendations based upon applicable codes, standards and best practices; interpret the job plan and perform upgrades for existing infrastructure.

The intermediate program prepares the student to take the BICSI Certification Examination at the ITS Installer 2 Level, specializing in copper cabling. The certification will be administered post completion of the program.
