It's that time of year again when students in The Culinary School @ EVIT are baking & cooking up a storm in preparation for their annual Thanksgiving Essentials Sale. This year's event will be different in that no pre-orders will be taken. Instead, the students are preparing a wider variety of goods that will be sold in an open retail format from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday, Nov. 25 and Tuesday, Nov. 26 in the Culinary Banquet Hall at our Main Campus, 1601 W. Main St., Mesa.
In addition to usual items such as dinner rolls and pecan pie, this year's sale will also include pumpkin cheesecake, cranberry relish, sweet potato casserole & much more! The new format will also give our Commercial Baking & Pastry Arts students and Culinary Arts students the opportunity to be more actively involved in the retail process, offer samples & answer shoppers' questions. Be sure to stop by on Nov. 25 or Nov. 26 to support The Culinary School @ EVIT and get some great items for your Thanksgiving table!
